The launch of the new website has not reached a consensus deadline, but it's certainly looking good so far, there will still be a lot more work to be done, and the first step is to find the time to keep it building one step at the time. A webmaster with more knowledge would be the best thing that could happen to us.

 

Today, the GPLegacy beehive, the place where all central projects are proposed, talked about, planned and executed, is already uploaded, the blog has been set, and there will be a lot of work coming with the Design of the website. The main reason has been that the core of GPLegacy needs to keep up with technology, being updated constantly to make sure we're moving ahead, before we take the step for public features, and given how 2008 looks, this means that we need to keep a good syncronization between both, there simply will be no time to make it in a consecutive fashion.

 

One of our goals will be to keep both sites updated and I am confident that we will live up to the task, our 3rd anniversary is coming on July 2nd, 2008, and this will be for us like the first year of a solid company with so many plans that have been going on with a slow burn, to finally show that everything something is cooking, it will see the light of day.

 

This first post is dedicated to everyone who has been steady, patient, collaborative, and more than anything, optimistic through the steps that today set GPLegacy as a name that is known in the sim racing community, and still making its way through more areas of motorsports.

 

Thanks again, and we hope you enjoy the new website. Yes, there is a personal soul in GPLegacy and it's a collective one, and we're all working at our own pace to make sure that everyone who is on board, or jumps on board, will find a cozy home.
